Code of Conduct.
At The Veraison Project & Oenoverse, we are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants in the Two Up Wine Down festival. This Code of Conduct applies to all attendees, speakers, volunteers, sponsors, staff, and vendors.
Respect & Inclusion
We expect all participants to treat each other with dignity and respect. Discrimination or harassment based on race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, religion, age, or any other protected characteristic will not be tolerated. Offensive or discriminatory comments, deliberate intimidation, stalking, unwelcome physical contact, or other disruptive behaviors are prohibited.
Consent & Personal Boundaries
Respect others’ personal space and boundaries at all times. Obtain clear, affirmative consent before initiating physical contact or engaging in any activity that may affect another person’s comfort or safety.
Responsible Enjoyment
Two Up Wine Down is a celebration of community, wine, and culture. Please enjoy responsibly:
Alcohol will only be served to participants age 21 and older. Valid government-issued photo identification is required for service.
Participants must comply with all alcohol service regulations. - Intoxication to the point of disruption or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated.
The use of illegal substances is prohibited.
For your health and the well-being of others, please refrain from attending if you are sick or feeling unwell.
Compliance with Laws & Policies
All participants must comply with applicable laws, venue rules, and festival policies. This includes fire safety, accessibility, and local public health requirements.
Consequences of Violations
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in a range of consequences, depending on severity:
Verbal warning
Temporary removal from a session or activity
Removal from the event without refund
Ban from future Veraison Project or Oenoverse events
The Veraison Project & Oenoverse reserve the right to take any action deemed necessary to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
Reporting Concerns
If you experience or witness a violation:
Speak to a staff member or volunteer (identifiable by badges or shirts)

Reports will be reviewed promptly and confidentially to the extent possible. No one will face retaliation for making a report in good faith.
